All patients registered at Benfleet Surgery have a named GP who is responsible for patients' overall care at the practice and is identified as your usual GP on your medical records.
Having a named accountable GP does not prevent you from making an appointment with or seeing any doctor of your choice within the surgery as you would normally do so. Your named GP will not be available at all times and if your needs are urgent or an appointment is unavailable with your GP of choice, you may need to see an alternative doctor. All of your records are available to all doctors working in the surgery.
